RECHARGEABLE BATfERY OPERATION
The countercan operateseveralhours from fully
chargedinternalNiCad-balterics
whenthe "PWR
"
switch
is in
the "SAIT'
or
"'ON"
position
.
The batteries
are
charged when the
unit
is
powered by
the
ACOwgerl
Adapter
and the
'1'WR~
switch
is
in
the
~AC.(}lC'
position
.
Full
recharge
will
occur
in
12
to
16
hours.
The
battery
packs
willalso charge
at
a
red
uced charge rate while the counter
is
being
operated
from
the
AC-Clwgerl Adapter.
If the
optional
N;C>d 30battery packis
installed the rechargetime will be the sameas bceh battery
packs
are
charged
in
parallel
The
counter may
be
operatedover prolongedperiods by AC Adapter
opeatice
with
no
hann to
batteries as the charge

is regulated.
Thebatteries

CALIBRATION
A
calibrationadjustmentopening

the instrumenttop cover is labeled
