DATA
INTERFACE
GENERAL
The
MOOeI Ml HandiCounrera
is equipped
with
a
TIl
asynchronous serial
interfacewhichallows
the
unit
to
be
conrected
to a personal computer for the
purJU'oe of
reading
frequency
information.The three-wireinterfaceis accessible
via
a miniature stereophonejack, and consistsof Receive Data
(lIP),
Transmit Data
(RING), and Signal G
round(SHIELD).
An
external RS-232C InterfaceConverter
(Mooel CXl2)is
required
to convert the TIl signal levels
to
RS-232C levels
compatible
wi
th
most persona

computers.
