Thank you for purchasing an Omron 60 Second Rigid Digital Thermorneter.
This thermometer offers a safe, accurate and quick temperature reading. There are three ways to take a temperature; oral, rectal or underarm. This
thermometer eliminates any worries about broken glass or mercury hazards. Note that your temperature is affected by smoking, eating or drinking. We
recommend that you practice taking a temperature on esch member of your family when they are healthy. This way you will be confident in your
technique when using the thermometer on a sick family member. The enclosed MC-249 thermometer is not sterile.
Read this Instruction Mammal completely before using your digital thermometer.

Follow the instructions of your physician or licensed healthcare provider.
Adult supervision is required when taking a temperature on children. Unattended сеп may injure themselves.
Store the thetmometer out of the reach of children. The thermometer contains small parts that may cause a choking hazard if swallowed.
Do not take a measurement when the thermometer is wet. This may result in an inaccurate reading,
This thermometer is intended for use in measuring temperature in the human body by oral, underarm and rectal methods. Operate the thermometer
only as intended. Do not use the thermometer for any ether purpose.
Read all of the information in the instruction sheet before using the thennometer.
Do not use the thermometer to take a rectal reading on persons with rectal disorders. This may worsen the person's condition.
When taking a rectal reading, do not force the thermometer into the rectum. Immediately stop inserting the thermometer if any pain is present.
Failure to do this may cause an injury.
Temperature readings are affected by many factors including exercise, drinking hot or cold beverages prior to taking a reading as well зя
technique. Avoid taking a reading after exercise, bathing, eating and drinking for 30 minutes.
When taking an oral reading, do not bite on the thermamater. This may cause the thermometer to break and cause an injury.
Do not use a mobile phone near the tharmometer oc in places where strong static electricity or electromagnetic fields are present. This may cause
an inaccurate reading or operational failure.
Remove the battery if tha thermometer will not be used for 3 months or longer.
Dispose of the battery according to applicable local regulations. Uniawfhl disposal may cause environmental pollution.
Use only Omron authorized parts and accessories. Parts and accessories not approved for use with the thermometer may damage the thermometer.
Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the thermometer. This may result in inaccurate readings and will void the user warranty.
Do not subject the thermometer to strong shocks, such as dropping the thermometer on the floor. Do not step on the thermometer or storage case.
Store the thermometer in a clean, safe location.
Do not attempt to incinerate the battery. К may burst.
Pay attention do polarity (+-) when replacing the battery. Failure to do so may lead to fluid laakage, hest generation or bursting, resulting in damage to the unit.
Do not share the thermometer among individuals.
