To set up motion steering on the Sanwa M17S:
1. Neutral Adjustment: First, power on the transmitter and center the steering servo by adjusting the Sub Trim (ST) setting. Install the servo horn at the approximate center position.
2. Steering End Point Adjustment (ST-EPA): - Select either [EPA-L] or [EPA-R] on the touch pad and confirm with Enter. - Adjust the operating range using the touch pad (Range: 0–150%; Default: 100%). - You can also move the cursor using the steering wheel. - Ensure the servo linkage is not locked at the endpoints to avoid damage.
3. Feeling Function: Use the "Feeling" setting to adjust steering response smoothness. For example, setting it from 25 down to 21 can make steering smoother and more controlled. Fine-tune based on your vehicle and driving conditions.
4. Receiver and Response Mode: - Choose the correct receiver mode (e.g., FH5U). - Set the appropriate response mode: SXR for newer servos, SSR/SHR for older or other brands.
These settings allow you to customize motion steering for better control and response.
