Bluetooth HID Mode Step 1. The Bluetooth HID mode is a Bluetooth keyboard. When you scan the barcode, the data will be output at the cursor of the text. The blue LED on your scanner is fast blinking. This means that the scanner is in pairing mode (HID mode).

USB-HID Mode The USB-HID mode is a USB keyboard. When you scan the barcode, the data will be output at the cursor of the text. Step 1. Please scan USB-HID Mode barcode. Step 2. Then connect your scanner to your computer with the USB cable that comes in the packing box.

USB-HID Mode Step 3. When then connection is successfull, you will hear 3 beeps from your barcode scanner. After that, you can open a text file or your own software on your computer to scan. The information of the barcode scanned will be displayed at the cursor.

USB-VCP Mode To use the VCP Mode (Virtual COM Port), an application needs to be downloaded firstly. The one Generalscan suggested, except General- scan Keyboard Pro is “Serial Debug Assistant”. Please download and install it by scanning the barcode of guiding documents below. After setting, the barcode information will be output from this app.
