Multi-stage cooking
You can set two different cooking levels – e.g.
when you first wish to defrost a dish at a high
power and then finish the cooking at a lower
power.
For multi-stage cooking, you cannot
select an automatic programme or a
preheating function.
Example:
You want to initially defrost a dish that you
had frozen for 10 minutes, and then complete
the cooking in 15 minutes with 80% micro-
wave power.
1. Press the "Weight/Time/Defrost" but-
ton (14) twice.

defrosting time

When the defrosting time has elapsed and
the cooking time begins, a short signal tone
will sound.
Once the cooking time has elapsed, 5 sig-
nal tones will sound.

You can extend the defrosting time
and cooking time, and you can ex-
tend the defrosting time as described
in section "Extending the cooking
time" to page EN-19.
