Due to the weight of the tonneau cover assembly, two people should perform the
removal and installation procedure.

  • Page 2 TONNEAU COVER SERVICE GUIDE SUBJECT: Service Procedure: Tonneau Cover Canister Lid Pull the tonneau cover to the closed position. Remove the 2 bolts on top of the tonneau cover canister lid. Remove the tonneau cover canister lid. Clean out any debris inside the tonneau cover canister using a shop vacuum or compressed air.
  • Page 3 SUBJECT: TONNEAU COVER SERVICE GUIDE Tonneau Cover Assembly Removal Remove the 6 black bolts on both side rail Silver bolts brackets. (loosen only) Loosen the 6 silver bolts on both side rail brackets. NOTICE Do not completely remove the silver bolts. Black bolts Slide both side rail brackets inwards towards the center of the vehicle.
  • Page 4 TONNEAU COVER SERVICE GUIDE SUBJECT: Pull the entire tonneau cover assembly towards the rear of the vehicle, past the edge of the C-pillar garnish. C-pillar garnish Carefully lift and remove the entire tonneau cover assembly (A) out of the vehicle. CAUTION The tonneau cover assembly is heavy.
  • Page 5 SUBJECT: TONNEAU COVER SERVICE GUIDE Tonneau Cover Assembly Installation Place the tonneau cover assembly (A) into the bed, behind the C-pillar garnish. CAUTION The tonneau cover assembly is heavy. Two people should install the tonneau cover assembly.   • Page 6 TONNEAU COVER SERVICE GUIDE SUBJECT: Lift both rear ends of the tonneau cover assembly (A) and hold them at an angle. Push the tonneau cover assembly forwards until it rests on the front tonneau cover rail bracket. Ensure that the front drain tubes align with the front drain holes.
  • Page 7 SUBJECT: TONNEAU COVER SERVICE GUIDE Lower both rear ends of the tonneau cover assembly (A). Ensure that the rear drain tubes align with the rear drain holes. Install the 6 black bolts on both side rail brackets. Do not tighten them until the next step.
  • Page 8 TONNEAU COVER SERVICE GUIDE SUBJECT: Fully retract the tonneau cover to the open position. Tighten the front black bolts only on both side rail brackets (A). Tightening torque: 8 lb-ft (11 N.m). Move the tonneau cover to the half open position.

  • Page 10 TONNEAU COVER SERVICE GUIDE SUBJECT: Measure the distance between the inside of the channels of both tonneau cover rails. The distance should be at least 128.5 cm (50 3/5 in). If distance is measured to be less, loosen the 6 silver bolts, adjust both tonneau cover rails by pressing them outwards, and retighten the silver bolts.
