Getting Started Perform the following prior to performing any maintenance procedures: Place the system on a flat work surface. Make sure the system is completely powered down. If the device is in powered up mode, shut down the system normally. If the device is in sleep mode, wait for the Home Screen to clear.
Lower Case Removal Remove the twelve (12) screws securing the lower case to the upper case. Figure 1-2. Removing the Screws Place your both thumbs on the center of the upper case as shown in the below illustration. Then push the upper case firmly to pry the bottom edge latches. Figure 1-3.
