Safety and Notes
• Product should be installed and serviced by a certified electrician
in accordance with applicable national, state, and local building and
electrical codes.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, ensure that the main power source
and circuit breakers are switched off before performing any installation
or wiring procedures.
• Ensure all mounts are securely attached and will support the weight of
the power supply. Failure to properly support may result in damage or
injury, for which the manufacturer does not assume responsibility.
• To ensure proper heat dissipation, do not mount unit on wood or plastic.
Mount only on a metal surface.
• Do not install in completely sealed enclosures. Enclosures must be
ventilated with holes to allow air passage.
• Multiple power supplies installed in one enclosure must be separated
by a properly spaced metal plate and encased in epoxy to function
properly.
• Do not stack power supplies.
• The input voltage must be within the specified operating voltage range
of the power supply. For example, if the input voltage is 100–240 VAC,
the power supply cannot connect to 277 VAC power.
• Do not use under abnormal loads. Do not overload or apply a very
small load.
• To creating an effectively cooled installation and environment for the
power supply, do not install the power supply in a high temperature
environment. Avoid heat transfer by exposing to proper flow air, making
the space around the power supply as large as possible. Install power
supply onto a large metal surface where possible—direct contact to the
metal will dissipate heat through the metal plate.
• Suitable for damp locations.
