1. INTRODUCTION This document explains how to connect your devices to the SenteraWeb cloud by using a Sentera internet gateway type SIG-M-2. The Sentera products work locally and control the ventilation for a specific applica- tion. These local devices exchange information with each other via a network called Mobus RTU. -

Ethernet socket The metal coloured RJ45 socket at the left side is the Ethernet socket. The Ethernet LAN cable must be connected to this socket. Connect the 24 VDC power supply Connect the Master socket of the SIG-M-2 internet gateway to a Sentera 24 VDC power supply (article code SEPS8-24-40 or DRPS8-24-40). Sentera power supplies feature RJ45 sockets that simplify the wiring. On top of that they also offer protection against overvoltage and overload.

24 VDC power supply! The limit of the RJ45 sockets is 1,5 A. Regardless of the capacity of the 24 VDC power supply, the maximum current in the Power over Modbus network can never exceed 1,5 A.
