VELA. This product is not a medical device in itself but an accessory for the VELA Tango 700E and VELA Tango 600ES chairs. Please refer to the user manual of VELA Tango 700E or VELA Tango 600ES for intended use and other information. -

1.1. WARNINGS The drive system adds assistance to the chair mobility, while you can still use your legs for mobility. It is not intended to be used as a wheelchair. When mounted the chair is more directionally stable, thus not able to move directly sideways. -

Turn up the speed. See 1.3.3. Speed controller turned down High resistance when padd- Drive system turned on Turn off drive system ling with your feet If the above does not solve your problem, you should contact your VELA supplier. -

1.3. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE 1.3.1. TURN THE DRIVE SYSTEM ON/OFF Turn on the drive system by pushing the on/off-button on the controller. Turn off by pushing it again. The drive system turns off automatically after 5 minutes of inactivity. 1.3.2. STEERING Use the joystick on the controller to intuitively control the direction and speed. -

Charge every day. 1.3.7. FLIP-UP WHEELS The wheels can be flipped up to allow use VELA chair to function completely as it did without the drive system. Simply lift the drive wheels by hand until the contact with the frame. The you are able to move the chair sideways again. -
