Please always follow the instructions for safe usage. 1.1 Intended use An induction cooktop is designed for cooking or heating food in pots and pans that are induction-compatible. Induction cooktops work through an electromagnetic field that generates heat directly in the pan itself, rather than heating an element or burner and then transferring that heat to the pan.

3.2 Protecting the glass plate • Be sure to lift the pan away from the product. Sliding the pan can scratch the glass. • Never place an empty pan on the cooking zone that is on. This can cause the pan to overheat and damage the product.

English • Select the desired cooking zone by touching the corresponding cross on the control panel. • Select the desired cooking setting. This can be done by touching the number, or by sliding your finger from left to right across the bar of numbers. When doing so, first touch the bar with numbers for about 2 seconds before you start sliding.

• The power of the cooking zone is maximized and “b” appears at the corresponding cooking setting. • After 5 minutes, the booster stops automatically and the cooking zone switches back cooking level 9. • To cancel the booster or turn it off early, select the desired cooking zone and press the booster button again.
