Close the LCD panel.

Disconnect your notebook from the optional port replicator (see
"Disconnecting from the port replicator" on page 264).

Turn your notebook over so that the bottom is facing up.

Slide and hold the bay module latch and press the bay module release
button. The module moves out slightly.

Slide the bay module out.
