OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Note: The time keeping and the moving gears operate independently
from each other and so do their batteries.
Use alkaline batteries for longest life and best performance.
You can use 2 or 4 battteries to power the moving gears,
however, the batteries will need to be replaced more frequently
when using just 2 batteries.
1. Install one AA size battery in the holder for time keeping (1).
2. Remove the battery covers from the primary (2a) and secondary
(2b) battery holders for the moving gears.
3. Install 2 or 4 D size batteries in the holders (3a/b) for the moving
gears. If using just 2 batteries install the batteries in the primary
holder (3a)which has the ON/OFF switch.
4. Slide the ON/OFF switch (4) to the ON position to start the gears
moving.
5. Turn the TIME SET button (5) on the back of the movement or
carefully rotate the minute hand on the front of the clock to set
the hands to the correct time.
IMPORTANT: Never leave exhausted batteries in your clock as they
could leak and damage your clock.
