To assign names to servers:
In the Names dialog box, select the name or slot number you want to change and click

Modify.
The Name Modify dialog box appears.
Type a name in the New Name box.

Names of servers may be up to 15 characters long. Legal characters include: A–Z, a–z,
0–9, a space, and a hyphen.
Click OK to transfer the new name to the Names dialog box. Your selection is not

saved until you click OK in the Names dialog box.
Repeat step 1 through step 3 for each server module in the system.

Click OK in the Names dialog box to save your changes.

Click X or press <Esc> to exit the dialog box without saving changes.

Changing the Display Behavior

Use the Menu dialog box to change the display order of server modules and set a screen
delay time for OSCAR.
Press <Print Screen> to launch OSCAR.

The Main dialog box appears.
Click Setup-Menu.

The Menu dialog box appears.
Select Name to display servers alphabetically by name, select EID to display server

modules numerically by EID number, or select Slot to display servers numerically by
slot number.
Click OK.

To set a screen delay time for OSCAR:
Type the number of seconds (0–9) that you want to delay the display of OSCAR after

you press <Print Screen>.
Entering 0 instantly launches OSCAR without delay.
