1 – Introduction
These instructions pertain to Optyma
G&D HBP HLH061, DSH105 & DSH140
condensing
units
(R410A/R452B/R454B)
used for refrigeration systems. They provide
necessary information regarding safety and
proper usage of this product.
Note: These HRSM0500N models are only
quali ed to use R410A and R454B refrigerant.
The condensing unit includes following:
• Scroll compressor
• Microchannel heat exchanger
• Fix low Pressure cartridge
• Fix high Pressures cartridge
• EC Fan Motor
• Stop Valves Suction/ Liquid
• Heater for Compressor
• Receiver Vessel
• Accumulator Vessel
• Check Valve in Discharger Pipe
2 – Handling and storage
• It is recommended not to open the
packaging before the unit is at the nal
place for installation.
• Handle the unit with care. The packaging
allows for the use of a forklift or pallet jack.
Use appropriate and safe lifting equipment.
• Store and transport the unit in an upright
position.
• Don't expose the packaging to rain or

corrosive atmosphere.
• Store the unit between -31°F to 122°F
(-35°C to 50°C).
• After unpacking, check that the unit is
complete and undamaged.
3 – Installation precautions
Do not braze as long the condensing unit
is under pressure.
A brazed, welded, or mechanical
connection shall be made before opening
the valves to permit refrigerant to
between the refrigerating system parts.
Never place the unit in a
atmosphere.
Place the unit in such a way that it is not
blocking or hindering walking areas, doors,
windows or similar.
• The installation instructions shall be
installed in accordance with the Safety
Standard for Refrigeration Systems, ANSI/
ASHRAE 15 or Compliance with National
Regulations.
• The Installation shall include protection
from physical damage in operation
and service and be in compliance with
national and local codes and standards,
such as ANSI/ASHRAE 15, IAPMO Uniform
Mechanical
Code,
Mechanical Code, or CSA B52. All
joints shall be accessible for inspection
Warnings
The condensing unit must only be used for its designed purpose(s) and within
its scope of application.
Under all circumstances, the ASHRAE15 or UL60335 (or other applicable
local safety regulation) requirements must be ful lled.
The condensing unit is delivered under nitrogen gas pressure (1 bar) and
hence it cannot be connected as it is; refer to the «installation» section for
further details. It does not contain refrigerant on delivery.
The condensing unit must be handled with caution in the vertical position
(maximum o set from the vertical: 15°)
Installation and servicing of the condensing units by quali ed personnel
only. Follow these instructions and sound refrigeration engineering prac-
tice relating to installation, commissioning, maintenance and service.
This product is designed to be integrated into an Outdoor End-Product as
an Air cooled chiller. Any di erent Application shall be according with
UL Standard or Compliance with National Regulations. The installation of
the condensing unit in a refrigeration system is the responsibility of the
system designer
prior to being covered or enclosed.
• Ensure adequate space around the unit for
air circulation and to open doors. Refer to
picture 1 for minimal values of distance to
walls, for End-Products.
• Avoid installing the unit in locations which
are daily exposed to direct sunshine for
longer periods.
• Avoid installing the unit in aggressive and
dusty environments.
• Ensure a foundation with horizontal surface
ow
(less than 3° slope), strong and stable
enough to carry the entire unit weight and
ammable
to eliminate vibrations and interference.
• The unit ambient temperature may not
exceed 122°F (50°C) during o cycle.
• Ensure that the power supply corresponds
to the unit characteristics (see nameplate).
• When installing units for HFO refrigerants,
use equipment speci cally reserved for
HFO refrigerants which was never used for
CFC or HCFC refrigerants.
• Use clean and dehydrated refrigeration
grade copper tubes and silver alloy brazing
material.
• Use
components.
