1.Introduction Thank you for purchasing the Ambir Film and Slide Scanner FS500. This product is designed to help you easily convert your film negatives and slides to digital images that you can share, store and preserve. Save your treasured memories on the onboard memory or on the included SD card.

5.Operation Instructions Preparing Films or Slides IMPORTANT : Ensure your films/slides are clean and free of dirt or debris. 1. Open the appropriate film/slide adapter and insert your film/slide. Each adapter is labeled to identify it. If you are not certain of your slide/film type, refer to the images as following.

110 negative film super8/8mm 2. Close the film/slide adapter and press the edge that it locks into place. 3. Ensure the film/slide is facing the correct way and is not bent. You can center the film/slide by manually adjusting it to the left or right.
Using an SD Card Note: This scanner has built-in memory for saving scanned images.This film scanner will also accept SD, SDHC, and SDXC cards with a maximum of 128GB for extra memory. If you are using a 128GB SD card, it may need to be formatted before using for the first time.
Powering on Film Scanner 1. Connect the USB cable to the USB port on the film scanner. 2. Connect the other end of the USB cable into a USB wall adapter (not included) or USB power source (5V/1A). 3. Date and Time Setting 1. On the Main Menu or press the Setting button to open the Main Menu, use the < and > buttons to select the DATE AND TIME option. 2. Press OK to open the DATE AND TIME menu. 3.
Select Film Type 1. On the Main Menu or press the Setting button to open the Main Menu, use the < and > buttons to select the FILM TYPE option. 2. Press OK to open the film type menu. 3. Use the > arrow key to cycle through Negatives, Slides, or B&W. Press the OK button to select it.
Cleaning and Care Cleaning and care use the included cleaning brush to ensure there is no dust or debris on the lens. Insert the soft end of the brush, face down, into the film/slide holder slot. Carefully push the brush around inside to get rid of any dust or debris that may be on the LED backlight.

Viewing scanned Images 1. Press the GALLERY button to go to view your saved images. 2. Your images will play automatically in Slideshow mode. 3.
