The SmartGPS product is warranted to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for two years from the date of purchase. Within this period, LXNAV will, at its sole option, repair or replace any components that fail in normal use. Such repairs or replacement will be made at no charge to the customer for parts and labour, provided that the customer pays for shipping costs.
2 Introduction 2.1 SmartGPS overview: The SmartGPS is a boat tracking and monitoring system that works with a device integrating a GPS antenna and SIM card, and connects to the NMEA2000 network. Data are sent to the cloud and can be viewed via the VesselWatch mobile app and the SmartGPS platform.

Follow these guidelines to configure your device effectively: 1. Tracking Interval: Set the tracking interval to an appropriate frequency to balance between timely updates and battery consumption.
7 Live vessel tracking Tap on the access the live vessel tracking: 7.1 Overview The live vessel tracking map displays your boat's location with a white boat icon and the vessel's name (configured in chapter 6.1, "Editing Boat Details"). You can zoom in and out, and rotate the map to view surroundings.
7.2 Features: The sharing feature on the map allows you to send a specific location or route to others. This feature is useful for providing directions and can be use in case of safety reasons. This ensures that the map re-centers on your boat's position after you've checked the surroundings.
8 Monitoring NMEA2000 data The app monitors compatible devices connected to the NMEA2000 network, providing accurate and real-time tracking of critical boat data. 9 Digital switch With the VesselWatch app, you can easily control various onboard devices through compatible digital switches, including lights, pumps, heating, and more. These controls are accessible through icons and can be customized for quick access. Shortcuts: You can create up to 5 shortcuts for commonly used controls. These shortcuts appear on the main screen for quick and easy management.
10 Monitoring multiple boats The "Monitoring Multiple Boats" feature in VesselWatch lets you track several vessels simultaneously. You can view real-time data, such as location and performance metrics, for each boat on a single screen. This feature is ideal for fleet management, providing customizable views and alerts for each vessel.
11 Notifications They provide significant events of the sensors connected to the NMEA2000, enabling better monitoring and timely responses to potential issues. The reported notifications help track past incidents and can be useful for vessel inspections or maintenance.
