    The integral broadband impedance matching network transformer allows broadband antenna tuning. The CHA BLE 30 will operate from 3.5 – 54.0 MHz (including the 80 – 6 meter amateur bands) and the CHA BLE 60 and 130 will operate from 1.8 – 54.0 MHz (including the 160 – 6 meter amateur bands) without any adjustment with a wide range antenna tuner.

    Parts of the Antenna The CHA BLE 30/60/130 is comprised of the following components, see plate (1): Plate 1. BLE 30/60/130 Components. a. Matching Transformer. The Matching Transformer, see plate (1), provides impedance matching for the CHA BLE 30/60/130. b. Antenna Wire. The Antenna Wire, see plate (2), is your choice of a 30, 60, or 130 foot length of insulated wire.

    Installation The CHA BLE 30/60/130 is designed for simple and stealthy installation. Figure (1) shows a typical home station installation. This type of end-fed Sloping/Horizontal Wire configuration will provide very reliable short (NVIS) to medium range communication as well as some DX. The Matching Transformer end of the antenna can be suspended under the Soffit near the radio room.

    8. If still not operational, replace Matching Transformer. Specifications • Frequency: o CHA BLE 30 – 3.5 MHz through 54.0 MHz continuous (including all Amateur Radio Service bands 80 through 6 meters). A wide range antenna tuner or coupler required.
