speed dial
To speed dial a contact entry or fixed dial
number, press and hold its single-digit speed dial
key for one second.
To assign a speed dial key to a contact entry, see
page 72.
set speed dial list
You can set speed dial to call the entries in
your contacts or your fixed dial list: Press
s >
Settings > Initial Setup > Speed Dial
> Phone Memory.
attach a phone number
Dial an area code or prefix for a contacts
number, then press Options > Attach Number.

notepad
The last number you entered is stored in the
notepad. You can use the notepad to "jot down"
a number during a call for later use. To see the
notepad:
Press s > Calls, then press Options > Notepad.
• To call the number, press N.
• To create a contact entry with the number
in the No. field, press the Store key.
• To open the Dialling Menu to attach a
number or insert a special character, press
Options.
international calls
If your phone service includes
international dialling, press and hold 0 to insert
your local international access code (indicated
by +). Then, press the keypad keys to dial the
country code and phone number.
