ring styles

Each ring style uses a different set of ringtones or
vibrations for incoming calls and other events. The
Silent profile silences your phone until you set
another ring style. The profile indicator shows at
the top of the home screen:
Loud Soft
Vibrate Vibrate & Ring
Vibrate then Ring Silent
To choose your profile:
Find it: s > Settings > Ring Styles > Style
> style name
Shortcut: You can quickly set your ringer to Vibrate
or Silent by repeatedly pressing the down volume
key in the home screen (see illustration on
page 52).

You can change the ringtones for incoming calls
and other events. Your changes are saved in the
current profile.
Note: You can't set a ringtone for the Silent profile.
Find it: s >
Settings > Ring Styles > style Detail
1 Scroll to Calls (or Line 1 or Line 2 for dual-line
phones), then press the Change key to change it.
2 Scroll to the ringtone you want, then press the
centre key s.
time & date
Your phone can automatically update your time
zone, time and date. It uses the time and date for
the Calendar.
To synchronise the time zone, time, and date
with the network: Press s > Settings
> Initial Setup > Time and Date > Autoupdate
> Time & Time Zone. If you don't want your phone to
customise 57
