with girders design. The main structure and staircases will be assembled separately.

WHAT IS IN THE KIT?
In this kit you will find all the laser cut pieced needed to assemble this product. The
pieces are still intact in the sheets as they were cut to ensure that all the parts are
there. Some of the loose bits inside pieces may have been removed, but they are not
part of the finished product. In the section "FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF" below, you

WHAT YOU WILL NEED We have specifically designed this product so that it is easy to assemble with only a few basic tools.
  • Page 3 WORD OF ADVICE We would strongly advise you to do a quick dry assembly before you start gluing the laser cut parts together. Lay out all the parts on your work surface and make sure that the parts are not upside down or mirrored. In most instances it will make no difference, but in others it may be crucial to ensure a perfect product in the end.
  • Page 4 ASSEMBLY OF THE MAIN STRUCTURE FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF Have a look at a photo of a finished product with staircases.
  • Page 5 Now have a look at the next diagram where all the laser cut parts of the main structure are shown and numbered from A to K. The main bridge structure consists of a deck slab (A) and three girders (B 1-3) that rest on two support beams.
  • Page 6 three girders to ensure a snug fit with the deck slab (A). Ensure that all the girders are plumb and square before the glue fully sets. Next, the nubs of the two railings (J 1-2) can be glued into the slots near the long sides of the deck slab (A).

    ASSEMBLY OF THE MODULAR FOOTBRIDGE STAIRCASE FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF Now have a look at the next diagram where all the laser cut parts of the modular footbridge staircase are shown and numbered from A to H. We will identify each part and where they fit in.
  • Page 8 LET’S GET STARTED WITH THE ASSEMBLY OF THE STAIRCASES Put the one outer side (A 1-4) on your work bench and glue one of the inner sides (B 1-4) to the top of the leg girder in such a way to ensure that they align perfectly. Now put the next outer side (A 1-4), but in a mirror position, on your work bench and repeat the process above.
