Dear Customer,
We would like to thank you for the trust, and congratulate you on the purchase of your high quality PUK fine
welding device. Please read the manual carefully, in order to familiarise yourself with the device, so you are
able to optimally benefit from its advantages.
Please follow the safety instructions to ensure greater safety while using the device. This operating manual is
intended to familiarise you with the set-up and operating process of your "PUK", as well as the associated PUK
welding microscope. Please read the operating manual carefully prior to first use. Disruptions and operational
faults will thus be avoided. Your personal safety, constant availability and long service life will be assured by
this.
The set-up process of the device must only be exercised by qualified specialists and only within the scope of
appropriate use. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damages caused by inappropriate use and improper
operation. Before set-up, be sure to read carefully the chapter "Warning and information signs", as well as the
"Safety instructions".
Please keep this operating manual within reach of the device, so that you have access to all information at all
times.

constructed in accordance with the VDE guidelines.
The eye protection system used on the PUK welding microscope is tested and certified by DIN-CERTCO
(DIN department for eye protection).
Only use original spare parts for maintenance and overhaul work. Our customer service department will
naturally be happy to help you.
The device must only be opened or modified by authorised customer service personnel, otherwise all
guarantees, warranties and liabilities are excluded!

In the normal position, the lower part of the sleeve is aligned with the marking on the ocular tube.
