Troubleshooting Guide
The following guide will assist you in determining errors and problems you may encounter

Scale is speaking weight
in the wrong language or

POSSIBLE CAUSE
Weight on scale
exceeds scale capacity.
One or more batteries
are too low for accurate
weighing and should be
replaced.
One or more batteries
may be installed
incorrectly.
Push-button weighing
units switch accidentally
pushed while handling
the scale or when
changing batteries.
The Voice Language
switch accidentally
moved while handling
the scale or when
changing batteries.
Is the scale used on a
carpeted or non-
carpeted floor?
Carpet feet should be
installed when the scale
is used on a carpeted
floor.
On a non-carpeted floor,
the carpet feet should
not be installed.

POSSIBLE SOLUTION
Ensure the scale is empty and not
touching anything before weighing
a patient. If the scale continues to
show
, contact your scale
service representative.
Remove the battery panel on the
bottom of the scale. Replace all
(3) batteries, and then re-install
the battery panel.
Remove the battery panel on the
bottom of the scale. Verify that all
(3) batteries are installed correctly
in the battery holder, and then re-
install the battery panel.
Ensure the scale is off. Press the
weighing units switch on the
bottom of the scale to toggle to
correct weighing units.
On the bottom of the scale, move
the Voice Mode switch to the
desired language.
If scale is used on carpeted floor,
check if carpet feet are installed. If
not, install carpet feet and weigh
the patient again.
If the scale continues to show
wrong or erratic weight, move the
scale to a non-carpeted floor and
weigh the patient again.
If on a non-carpeted floor, the
scale continues to show wrong or
erratic weight, contact your scale
service representative.
