PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
A. Main body with a gauge (-30-0 inHg, -76-0cmHg)
B. Vacuum venturi
C. Three (3) rubber bushings (35mm OD, 39mm OD, 44mm OD)
D. Coolant hose
INSTRUCTIONS
I. CREATE A VACUUM
1) Drain coolant from the radiator.
2) Select a suitably sized rubber adapter bushing. Fit it to the lower part of the main body (A-1) and connect it to the radiator fill neck or expansion
tank. When tightening the screw (A-5) on the main body the rubber adapter bushing will be squeezed to fit securely on the filler neck (A-1).
3) Locate the overflow port on the radiator filler neck or expansion tank. Ensure the rubber adapter bushing is completely covering the overflow
hole. If the bushing is unable to cover the hole for your application, you will need to plug or cap the hole externally before continuing.
4) Connect the vacuum pump (B-1) to the main body (A-2).
5) Connect the airline to the vacuum pump (B-2) .
6) Open the ball valve (A-3) to create a vacuum in the cooling system. When the gauge (A-4) reading falls into the yellow range between
-19 to -24incHG (-50 to -60cmHG), close the ball valve (A-3).
