  • Page 16 Preparing isofix Pull the fabric loop found at the rear of the base to pull out both isofix connectors completely. Setting harness and headrest height Check and if necessary adjust the height of the shoulder straps and headrest before fitting the child seat in a car.

    USING THE CHILD SEAT Position the child seat on the vehicle seat giving priority to a rear seat position. Use the front seat position may differ in certain countries. Refer to the highway code of the country where you are travelling.
  • Page 21 Move the vehicle seafs headrest to its highest position. Take the top tether from the storage bag and lay it over the child seat. Before installing the child car seat identify the location of the top tether anchorage position, usually located on the rear parcel shelf, rear of seat back or floor of the boot.

  • Page 24 Removing the child seat To release the child seat from the vehicle, simultaneously pull back the buttons on the connectors on both side of the seat. Pull seat away from the vehicle seat ISOFIX connection points. Loosen the top tether strap and release it from the tether anchorage.
  • Page 25 Insert the vehicle seat belt in its buckle to lock it. You shall hear a click. Open the lock off devices located on the top corners of the car seat. Pass the diagonal belt across the top of the backrest passing it through both belt locks.

Freeing the child from the seat Press the central adjuster and, at the same time, pull both shoulder harness to loosen them as much as possible.
  • Page 30 Removing the child seat Release the vehicle seat belt, unthread it from the child seat and allow it to retract. • Warning: secure the child seat with the vehicle belts even when there is no child in it to prevent the child seat to moving around in the vehicle while driving.

Installation with isofix connectors (optional) If your vehicle is not equipped with isofix insert guides, clip the two insert guides which are included with the seat.

Shake the child seat to make sure it is safely attached and re-check the green safety buttons to make sure that both of them are completely green.
  • Page 36 Have your child sit down in the child seat. Pull out the vehicle seat belt and guide it in front of your child to the vehicle seat buckle. Engage the buckle tongue in the vehicle seat buckle. Place the diagonal seat belt section and lap belt section in the belt guide on the armrest of the child seat on the side of the vehicle seat belt buckle.
  • Page 37 Guide the diagonal seat belt section into the belt guide of the headrest. Tip: If the backrest conceals the belt guide on the headrest, adjust the headrest upwards. The diagonal seat belt section can now be easily inserted. Now return the headrest to the proper height.

  • Page 40 Removing the child seat To release the Isofix fastening, pull the red button, first on one side, then on the other. Slide the Isofix locking arms back into the seat shell- Release the car seat belt, unthread it from the child seat and allow it to retract.
  • Page 41 Put the strap loops of the shoulder pads onto the metal bar on the headrest height adjuster handle on the rear of the seat. CAUTION: The strap loops of the shoulder pads should go through the longer bar of the headrest height adjuster handle.

    CARE AND MAINTENANCE Cleaning Clean plastic parts, the harness straps, the buckle and the anti-slip material of the shoulder pads with a wet cloth. Do not use harsh cleaning agents. Never use chemical cleaning or bleaching agents. Cover Take the covers off completely to wash them. Follow the washing instructions reported on the label attached to the fabric.
