INSTALLING THE BREAKER
(if previously installed, remove the Provision Barrier
from the B-phase Strap to allow proper electrical
connection between the B-phase Bus Extension and
the B-phase Strap)
15. Refer to Figure 8
Orient the prepared breaker so that the Bus
Extensions face up and place it such that the
bottom of the breaker sits on the Breaker Support
Bracket and the Bus Extensions sit on each phase
of the bus straps.
16. Loosely secure the breaker to the strap
assembly using three 5/16"-18 x 1" Hex Head
Screws (Item 21) to secure the Bus Extensions to
the straps and two #10-32 x 3-3/8" Screws
(Item 16) to secure the breaker body to the Breaker
Support Bracket.
(NOTE: Some breakers are packaged with a pair of
Breaker Mounting Screws. If this occurs, dispose of
the pair that shipped with the breaker and use the
pair from this kit instead.)
17. With the components loosely assembled, make
adjustments and align as needed, then secure to
the values specified on the torque label applied
to the inside of the exterior door.
