Switch the power switch on the side of the control unit on. The mattress replacement system may take up to 40 minutes for full inflation. For rapid inflation an external pump may be used such as Drive’s electric quick fill pump, item #: 14427QF. Proceed to the Operating Instructions section on page 5. - Page 5 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 1. Place control unit on horizontal surface or hang it by means of the hook. 2. Open mattress on the bed. Secure it with end flaps or straps. Air tubes must be at foot end of bed. 3. Connect air feed tubes to air outlet on the mattress and control unit, ensuring that the tubes are not kinked or twisted.
