FAST FORWARD/BACKWARD
(1] To quickly move to another part of the disc during playback, press the <4 or
___
key for at least 2 seconds.
2] Release the key to resume normal playback.
Note:
Fast forward / backward is possible across the complete disc if the player is
in normal play mode. However, in random mode it is only possible within the
current track on the disc.
SCAN
The scan function enables you to become familiarized with the disc in a convenient
way.
" priefly press the SCAN key.
— The display shows 'SCAN' and the track number being scanned.
- You hear the first 10 seconds of each track.
— After the last track on the disc has been scanned, the set continues the scan
from the first track on the same disc.
[2] Briefly press the SCAN key again when you hear a track which you like.
— Normal playback resumes.
RANDOM
PLAYBACK
You can play the tracks on the disc in a random order.
Press the RND key.

The display shows: 'R', the track number and the playing time (for example 'RO1
10:45').

After all the tracks on the disc have been played, Random play continues on the
next disc, and so on.

Notes:
- If you briefly press the B key, a randomly-selected track will be played.
~ If you briefly press the <4 key, the previously played track will be recalled and
played. (The set remembers the track numbers of the last three tracks played.)
To resume normal playback, press the RND key again.
— The display shows 'T', the track number and the elapsed time.
SWITCHING BACK TO RADIO/CASSETTE

Briefly press the CD key.

CD* playback stops. The set returns to radio or cassette playback.
