1 RDM – Lights in random-play mode.
2 PGM – Lights in program-play mode.
3 RPT / RPT–1 – Lights when disc repeat / track
repeat mode is on.
4 L R – Left / Right channel indicators (light in
level meter display mode).
5 Level meter/message/time display
6 SYNC – Lights when the recorder is in auto-
matic synchro recording mode.
7 DIGITAL – Lights when the optical digital input
is selected.
8 FINALIZE – Lights if the CD-RW currently
loaded has been finalized.
9 CD / CD–R / CD–RW – Indicates the type of
disc currently loaded.
‡ – Lights to indicate recording or record-pause

mode. Blinking display indicates record muting.
11 D.VOL – Lights when the digital volume is set
to something other than 0dB.
12 SKIP ON – Lights to indicate that a disc
contains skip IDs. Blinks when setting or
clearing skip IDs.
13 A. TRACK – Lights when automatic track
numbering is on during recording.
14 FADER – Blinks during fade in or fade out.
