    EN-10 Courier 7000 Leveling the Equipment To ensure accuracy, proper performance and safety, locate and operate the base on a stable, level surface. Avoid locations with rapid temperature changes or excessive dust, air currents, vibrations, electromagnetic fields or heat. Level the base by adjusting the four leveling feet until the bubble in the level indicator is centered. A wrench may be needed to loosen the locking nut above each leveling foot.

    Courier 7000 EN-11 3. OPERATION Turning On/Off the Scale To turn on the scale, you can press the On button. The scale performs a display test, and momentarily displays the software version, the GEO value and then enters the last active weighing mode. LFt ON NOTE: If the hardware lock switch is enabled, will also be displayed briefly.

    EN-18 Courier 7000 4.2.1 Initial Calibration When the scale is operated for the first time, a zero and span calibration are recommended to ensure accurate weighing results. Before performing the calibration, be sure to have the appropriate calibration weights as listed in table 4-1. Ensure that the LFT switch/calibration lock is set to the unlocked position.

LEGAL FOR TRADE When the scale is used in trade or a legally controlled application, it must be set up, verified and sealed in accordance with local weights and measures regulations. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that all pertinent legal requirements are met.

Refer to the illustrations below for sealing methods. -- Paper sealing: affix the sealing paper on the countersunk screw shown as Figure 5-2. -- Wire Sealing: replace the countersunk screw by a cross-drilled screw that can be found in the packaging box.

    UPS WorldShip / FedEx Software Compatibility 6.1.1 UPS WorldShip The OHAUS UPS WorldShip Update Tool allows the UPS World software to recognize the scale. You can download the tool via the OHAUS website. Download the OHAUS UPS WorldShip Update Tool and decompress the installation package.

    OHAUS products are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of delivery through the duration of the warranty period.
