Installation
Connect the included RJ-11 Cable from the RJ-11 Port on the USB 56K

Modem to a phone or network jack.
Connect the USB-A Host Connector on the

port on the Host Computer.
The computer will automatically detect USB 56K Modem and install the

required software.
Operation
Set up a Dial-Up Connection
Windows
On the Host Computer, click the Network icon.

Click Dial-up Connection > Dial-up > Connect.

Complete the User name, Password, and Dial fields.

Click Dial.

macOS
Using the Dock menu on the Host Computer, click the System

Preferences icon.
Click Network > USB modem.
2.
Complete the Account name, Password, and Telephone number fields.
3.
To exit System Preferences and save your settings, press Command+Q.
4.
Use the Device as a Fax Modem
On the Host Computer, set up the fax client software. For more
information about how to set up fax client software, see the
documentation that came with the software.
