- Page 3 INSTALLATION NOTE: Timber 2 Rack must be mounted to a wall stud to achieve the maximum advertised weight limit Locate Wall Studs Use a stud finder to identify two suitable wall studs for mounting. While a spacing of 32” generally works well for surf boards and skis, measure your equipment to determine the optimal arrangement.
- Page 4 INSTALLATION Install Remaining Sections Use a tape measure to reference the distance from the floor (or ceiling) to the top of the Wood Upright that is already mounted to the wall. You will then use this distance to ensure the adjacent section is horizontal. Marking a horizontal line over the stud at this distance will help to align the top edge of the Wood Upright of the unmounted section.
