Printing from Windows NT 4.0

Hardware and Software Requirements
Using the Kodak Professional 8670 PS thermal printer (8670 printer) with
Windows NT 4.0 requires the following hardware and software:
• Pentium, 60 MHz Processor, with 16 MB of RAM minimum
• color monitor with a minimum pixel resolution of 640 by 480
• 32 MB of free hard drive space for installation and data files
Printing Software Included on the CD
The following printing software for Windows NT 4.0 is included on the CD
that came with your 8670 printer:
• an Adobe PS 5.0 printer driver.
• kd867001.ppd, a PostScript printer description file (PPD) which is used
with the Adobe PS 5.0 printer driver.
There is also a readme file on the CD that has instructions for installing
the PPD for Windows NT 4.0.
Installing the Software
Insert the CD in the CD-ROM drive, and follow the prompts to locate and
install the PPD for Windows NT 4.0.
