Printing from Windows 3.11

Hardware and Software Requirements
Using the Kodak Professional 8670 PS thermal printer with Windows 3.11
requires the following hardware and software:
• Pentium, 60 MHz, processor with 16 MB of RAM
• color monitor with a minimum pixel resolution of 640 by 480
• 32 MB of free hard drive space for installation and data files.
Printing Software Included on the CD
The following printing software for Windows 3.11 is included on the CD
that came with your 8670 printer. Use the browser on the CD to locate
and install this printing software.
• an Adobe PS 3.1 printer driver
• KD867001.ppd, a PostScript Printer Description file (PPD) that is used
by the Adobe PS 3.1 printer driver.
There is a readme file on the CD that has instructions for installing the
PPD for Windows 3.11.
Installing the Software
Insert the CD in the CD-ROM drive, and follow the prompts to locate and
install the PPD for Windows 3.11.
