    October 2023 Quick Start Guide 1  Installation 1.1  Unpack and inspect Procedure 1. Inspect the outside of the carton for any damage. If you detect damage, contact the carrier immediately. 2. Inspect the instrument and hardware. Make sure all items on the packing list are present and in good condition.

    3.2  Calibrate the sensor Emerson calibrates Rosemount 402 sensors at the factory, so you do not need to calibrate them when first placing them into service. Simply enter the cell constant printed on the label into the transmitter.
