CONNECTION FITTING THE MAINS POWER SUPPLY CONNECTOR The mains power supply connector is supplied without a cable. Choose a cable suitable for the product and insert it into the connector, following the steps described below. After fitting, check the quality and tightness of the connections. An HO7RNF industrial cable is preferable for the mains power supply, as per the recommendations below: Charger rating...
  • Page 12 AC CIRCUIT BREAKER In order to protect personnel, particularly in case of electric shocks, the AC mains power supply line must be equipped with a protective differential disconnector. The circuit breaker must have a sensitivity of 30mA, and a current rating consistent with the charger's consumption.
  • Page 13 These chargers are equipped with automatically opening sealed grommets. You need only press on the central part of the membrane to allow the cable to pass through the grommet. Remove the nuts from the terminals to be used and, after placing the lugs in their respective positions, screw the nuts on tightly.
  • Page 14 DC FUSES When the charger's internal fuses undergo maintenance, they must be replaced by fuses with strictly identical characteristics and perfor- mance. Risk of irreversible damage to the equipment. A fuse must be installed as close as possible to each positive feeder on the battery side to protect the connections, particularly in case of a short-circuit and/or overheating in the battery cables, for instance due to damage to the protective sheaths.
