5.2.3.2 Pressurising the Solvent Reservoir
For preparing the dispension of solvents in the purification filter columns, the solvent reservoir has
to be pressurized and connected to the purification columns by valve handling:

Risk of constant loss of working gas and risk from pollution by solvent
vapor when the Dip-Tube is not correctly sealed.
The Dip-Tube seal to the solvent reservoir must be gas-tight.
Ensure that the Dip-Tube is centered correctly.

Solvent Reservoir and Sampling Flask
► Replace the refilled solvent reservoir.
► Connect the grounding connection.
► Insert the dip tube
► Check the dip tube assembly for correct alignment into
the system.
► Fix it with the retaining clip.
► Tighten the retaining clip „hand tight".
Then pressurize the solvent reservoir:
follow steps 7 and 8 in chapter 5.2.3.2
CAUTION
► To pressurize the solvent reservoir:
Turn the gas valve
(V 1)
► To connect the solvent reservoir to the solvent
purification columns:
Turn the solvent valve
to position N 2

to position O P E N
