    DESCRIPTION The MPX-8800 model is a preamplifier with allocation matrix. It has 8 inputs channels to 8 output zones with independent volume control, increasable to 32 zones. There are 8 output zones with independent volume control and line level outputs for amplifying each zone separately.

  • Page 6 If there is only one matrix model MPX-8800, this selector must be moved to the MASTER position. The rest of the matrices must be set in the SLAVE 1, SLAVE 2 and SLAVE 3 positions in the case of the system having 16, 24 or 32 zones respectively.

  • Page 8 It is possible to set up systems from 8 to 32 zones with the MPX-8800 model matrix. The basic 8-zone system consists of just one MPX-8800 mod. matrix. The matrix needs to be set up as MASTER using the selectors on the back panel. In this case up to 8 selectable inputs, 8 remote sources, 2 microphones with zone selector mod M-880, 1 dynamic microphone with priority, 8 remote controls mod.

  • Page 10 If the output zones have the zone control model MCR-90E, it is also possible to connect the remote source directly to the microphone or line inputs integrated in the control itself. Remember to disconnect the input on the back panel of the matrix model MPX-8800 and check that the ENABLE control on the back panel is active.

    The musical source can be selected for each one of the zones separately from the front panel on the matrix or from the remote control. These audio inputs must be connected to the MPX-8800 model matrix set up as MASTER.
