The advanced vector control technology of WD770 addresses this situation as follows: It measures and controls the stator current vector of the asynchronous motor. Subsequently, it separates the stator current vector into excitation current (component generating internal magnetic field) and torque current (component generating torque) based on field orientation principles.

Disconnect from the load to carry out autotuning if necessary. WD770 can drive both AM and SM motor types. It supports two sets of motor parameters that can be changed via multifunctional digital input terminals or communication. The control performance of WD770 relies on accurate motor models. Therefore, it's necessary to perform motor identification before initially operating a motor (for example, motor 1).

5.5.12 – Digital Output WD770 has a total of four digital outputs: two of them are relays, one is a transistor, and one is a high-speed output (HDO). These outputs can be individually programmed using function codes. All parameters are detailedly explained in Section 6.

Functional Description: Below is an example scenario where the WD770 controls four pump motors. The WD770 should utilize four relay outputs (RO5 – RO8 terminals on the optional WDM-RO-1 module) and additionally use two groups of contactors to control operation either through the drive or the grid.

The motor repeats this procedure cyclically.
