    LBDG-1004 1.3 PoE Capability The Gateway can deliver up to 25W per port. It is compatible with any 48V device that accepts 802.3af, 802.3at or passive PoE (Passive PoE devices must accept power using pins 4 & 5 for +V and pins 7 & 8 for -V). Power is non- isolated.

    LBDG-1004 SECTION 3 INSTALLATION Installation of the LBDG-1004 DOCSIS 3.0 Gateway is similar to the installation of a line extender or any other piece of CATV equipment. The DOCSIS Gateway can be connected to a power-passing coupler or splitter. Call Lindsay Broadband for the recommended power insertion device for your application.

If using hanger brackets, the existing strand clamps should be lef t in place to act as spacers allowing the same bolts to be used.

    12. Tape all connections to reduce moisture intake. 3.5 Ethernet Cable Installation The external RJ45 connectors on the Lindsay LBDG-1004 Gateway provide IP68 weather-tight connections. Cables that are pre-terminated with an RJ45 connector can be used. No tools are required.
