3.0 Power Requirements The device can be powered via the following two ways: 1. Powered by the Laptop (through USB type-C (Laptop), 5V/3A recommended). In this case, the device is not connected to any external power supply, the USB 3.0 Type-A ports of the device can only provide 300mA current, which is used to connect low-power USB devices such as mouse and keyboard. - Page 15 When the device is connected to an A/C adapter or a USB-C Ÿ display with PD function, it can be seen as a powered USB hub to power external USB devices such as USB hard drives.
