1. Preparation. 1.1 Delivery On receiving the product, please check it for completeness, lack of faults and any transport damage. Inspect the goods in the presence of your forwarder. Should transport damage have occurred, please arrange for an inventory (determination of the faults) to be made in the presence of the forwarder.

All settings can be made using the tool supplied (see below) or without tools. The rifton tricycle is supplied with an assembly kit* to start using the tricycle. The assembly kit* includes: • Two quick-release bolts (not included in the rifton tricycle.
3. Settings. 3.1.1 Attachment of rear wheels (only for medium & large sizes) Before attaching or removing the rear wheels, make sure that the parking brake is fully released (variable resistance set to zero). Slide both rear wheels onto the axle. Push both wheels inwards to ensure that the axles reach the outside of the wheel hubs before attaching the quick-release pins.
3. Settings. 3.1.2 Attachment of front section (only for medium & large sizes) Set the handlebars to the maximum setting and set the brake to PARK (see point 3.6) before attaching the front section. Align the recess in the front wheel assembly with the recesses in the head tube.
3. Settings. 3.2 Rear end cap The end cap is used if a push bar is not in use. Slide the push bar (A) into the tube. Insert the screw through the hole (B), insert the nut into the opposite hole and tighten the nut using the hexagon spanners supplied (see point 3, assembly kit).
3. Settings. 3.4 Push bar for accompanying escort with hand brake for rear wheels Slide the push bar (A) into the tube (B) as shown. Insert the screw (C) through the hole, insert the nut (D) into the opposite hole and tighten the nut (D) using the hexagon spanners supplied (see point 3).
3. Settings. 3.5 Brake for accompanying escorts Put the parking brake into the PARK position (see point 3.6). Hook the ball end of the brake cable into the metal bracket (A) in the parking brake housing and lift the cable guide up into the pocket in the brake housing (B) as shown.
3. Settings. 3.6 Parking brake The parking brake blocks the rear wheels to keep the tricycle in position. It may only be used on flat surfaces. To activate the brake, pull the brake lever (A) all the way up so that the display (B) is aligned with the PARK position.
3. Settings. 3.7 Pedals / sandals The sandals and the lifting cable (A) can be completely removed so that conven- tional bicycle pedals remain underneath. Loosen the loops of the lifting cable (A) on the backs of both pedals, pull them through the holes in the sandals and release the quick-release pulley from the metal loop at the base of the seat rail.
3. Settings. 3.8 Seat height and depth To adjust the seat height, place your foot on the grey bar (A) between the rear wheels of the tricycle. Press the release button (B) with both hands on the handle and move the handle up or down to adjust the seat height.
3. Settings. 3.10 Backrest The backrest allows you to sit upright and provides attachment points for the positioning vest, positioning strap and headrest. Release the knob (A) to attach the backrest. Turn the clamp (B) so that it fits exactly between the tubes (C). Turn the clamp (B) again to align the brackets with the tubes, set the desired height and tighten the knob (A).
3. Settings. 3.11 Thorax pelotte pads The thorax pelotte pads can be adjusted in height, angle and width and can also be folded away. Release the knob (A) and bring the thorax pelotte pads on the metal rail (B) into the desired position. To fold away the thorax pelotte pads, press button (C) and push the thorax pelotte pads away.
3. Settings. 21 21 3.13 Handlebars A standard handlebar and a round handlebar are available for the rifton tricycle. The handlebars can be adjusted in height and angle. Release the button (A) and bring the handlebars back into desired position. Release the button (B) to adjust...
3. Settings. 3.14 Guidance/pull bar The guidance/pull bar makes it possible to guide and move the tricycle from the front. Remove the guide/pull bar from the tricycle when it is not in use. Attachment: Raise the handlebars out of the lowest position.
3. Settings. 3.17 Abduction block The abduction block is suitable for all those who require separation of the knees or abduction. Slide the support tube (A) into the holder underneath the saddle and then tighten the knob (B). The support tube (A) is provided with markings.
3. Settings. 3.19 Groin harness The lap belt positions the user's pelvis firmly by securing the hips and thighs without exerting pressure on the stom- ach. The small seat only has one slot and one ring per side. If both the positioning strap and the groin harness are used, the slot and the ring of both harnesses should be used.
3. Settings. 3.20 Tricycle stand The tricycle stand transforms your tricycle into a stationary trainer for learning the basic movements of pedaling. Place stand required place ground. Lift the rear end of the tricycle and place the grey projections (B) in the correct recess on the stands.

6. Guarantee. The two-year statutory guarantee period shall apply for all products. This begins with the delivery or handover of the goods.
