1. Plug one end of the power cord into the
control box and the other into a 110V outlet.
2. Set the heat setting dial to the "0" (off)
position. Always make sure the heat setting is
set to "0" when installing or changing blades.
Failing to do so may result in being burned.
Store in a clean, dry area.
Do not throw or drop tool.
Use only for skiving 1/16" (1.5 mm) to 5/8" (16 mm) thick top covers.

SET SCREWS
3. Using the 4 mm Allen wrench, loosen the
two set screws in the brass head and move
the spring-loaded clamps all the way to the
widest position (Fig. 2). It is recommended
to store the Allen wrench in the black rubber
band wrapped around the yellow cords to
avoid losing it.
For best results:

4. Insert a blade (sharp side facing away from
the handle) into the outer slots in the spring-
loaded clamps (Fig. 3). The sharp side faces
forward as you push the handle away from you.
