CONVENIENCE AC OUTLET
The outlets marked SWITCHED on the rear
panel provide power and switching control
to whatever component you may wish to
connect to the unit. For example, if you
connect the power cord of your record
player to the outlet, the record player will
be activated and deactivated by the power
switch on the unit.

Ober die an der Riickseite mit SWITCHED
n^rkierten Ausgange schaltet man mIt dem
Netzschalter gleichzeitig jeglichen Kompo-
nenten ein, der mit dem Gerat verbunden
jst. Wenn man beispielsweise das Netzkabel
eines Plattenspielers mit den Ausgangen
verbindet, wird der Plattenspieler dutch den
Netzschalter des Ger^tes ein-oder ausge-
schaltet.

Operation
TURNTABLE
Push the function switch PHONO 1 if you
with to operate the turntable connected to
the PHONO 1 terminal, or set to PHONO 2
if you wish to operate the turntable con¬
nected to the PHONO 2 terminal. This
equipment has Input sensitivity and impe¬
dance settings to accommodate a variety of
magnetic cartridges.
TUNER
Push the function switch to the TUNER
position, and set the mode control to
"STEREO" or "L+R" depending upon the
program selected. Use all other controls and
switches according to taste and listening
conditions.. Set to the AUX if your tuner is
connected to AUX terminals.
TAPE PLAYBACK
To listen to a playback of pre-recorded tape,
turn the monitor control to 1 or 2, depend¬
ing on which TAPE MONITOR terminal the
tape recorder is connected. The setting of
the function switch Is irrelevant in this case
and may be left at any position.
TAPE RECORDING
You may record with your tape recorder
any program materials that can be played
Ithrough this unit. Push the function switch
to TUNER, PHONO 1, PHONO 2, AUX 1
and AUX 2 depending on which program
you wish to record, and operate the tape
recorder while listening to the program.
Always leave the monitor control at
SOURCE if your tape recorder has no
separate playback head (look up its instruc¬
tion manual to see if the tape recorder is
equipped with separate playback and re¬
cording heads).
If your taps recorder is equipped with a
separate playback head, turning the monitor
control to 1 or 2 will cause the input source
to be bypassed and will permit you to listen
to the recording being made on the tape,

PLATTENSPIELER
Driicken Sie den Eingangswahler PHONO 1,
wenn Sie den Plattenspieler benutzen wollen,
der mit dem PHONO 1 Anschluss verbunden
ist, Oder driicken Sie PHONO 2, wenn Sie
den Plattenspieler gebrauchen wollen, der
mit PHONO 2 Anschluss verbunden ist.
Dieses Gerat hat Eingangsempfindlichkeits
— und Impedanz-Einstellungen, die fur eine
Anzahl Magnet-Tonabnehmer geeignet sind.
UKW-EMPFANGER
Driicken Sie den Eingangswahler auf
TUNER-Stellung und setzen Sie den Betriebs-
artenwahler auf STEREO Oder L -i- R, was
afaer von dem gewahiten Programm abhangig
ist. Gebrauchen Sie alle anderen Regler und
Schalter so, wie Sie es wiinschen. Schalten
Sie auf AUX-Position, wenn Ihr UKW-
Empfanger mit den AUX-Anschliissen ver¬
bunden ist,
TONBANDWIEDERGABE
Wenn Sie die Wiedergabe schon fruher auf-
genommener Tonbander horen wollen,
drehen Sie die Hinterbandkontrolle zu
Stellung 1 Oder 2, was davon abhangt, mit
welchem TAPE MONITOR — Anschluss das
Tonbandgerat verbunden ist. Die Einstellung
der Eingangswahler funktioniert in diesem
Fall nicht und kann in jegiicher Position
belassen warden.
TONBANDAUFNAHME
Mit Ihrem Tonbandgerat konnen Sie alle
Programmquellen aufnehmen.diemit diesem
Gerat wiedergegeben werden konnen.
Driicken Sie den Eingangswahler auf
TUNER, PHONO 1, PHONO 2, AUX 1
Oder AUX 2, jenachdam, was fur ein Pro¬
gramm Sie aufnehmen wollen. Bedienen Sie
das Tonbandgerat und horen Sie wahrend
der Aufnahme das Programm an. Wenn Ihr
Tonbandgerat keinen getrennten Wieder-
gabekopf hat (lesen Sie die Bedienungs-
anleitung dutch und finden Sie heraus, ob
das Gerat mit getrennten Wiedergabe — und

TOURNE-DISQUES-
Pousser le commutateur de la fonction

TUNER
Pousser le commutateur de fonction dans
la position TUNER et placer le controie
de mode a "STEREO" ou "L + R" cela
dependant du programme cholsi. Utiliser
tous les autres controles et commutateurs
en fonction des conditions d'^coute et de
gout. Placer a AUX si votre tuner est
branch^ aux bornes AUX.
PLAYBACK DES BANDES
Pour Scooter un playback d'une bande
pre-enregistr4e, tourner I'interru pteur general
a 1 ou 2, cela depend de la borne TAPE
MONITOR a laquelle le magnetophone est
branch^. Le reglage du commutateur de
fonction n'est pas necessaire dans ce cas
et peut etre laisse sur n'importe quelle
position.
ENREG1STREMENT DE BANDES
Vous pouvez enregistrer avec votre mag¬
netophone quelque ensemble que ce soit,
qui peut etre branche sur cette unite.
Pousser les commutateurs de fonction a
TUNER, PHONO 1. PHONO 2, AUX 1 et
AUX 2, cela depend du programme que
