Installation of Antenna Unit

Mounting considerations
Install the antenna unit referring to the antenna installation diagram at the end of this
manual.
When selecting a mounting location for the antenna unit, keep in mind the following
points:
• Do not shorten the antenna cable.
• Do not install the antenna unit within beamwidth of the radar.
• To install an antenna unit other than the NX-9HE, contact your dealer.
• A magnetic compass will be affected if the unit is placed too close to the magnetic
compass. Observe the compass safe distances at the front of this manual to prevent
interference to a magnetic compass.
Coat here with silicone sealant
to prevent breakage of the
cable by vibration.
Wrap the vinyl sheet to prevent
the breakage of the cable, and
then fix the hose clamp.
