Installing paper
Single Sheets and Envelopes (Friction Mode)
In the Friction mode, there are 2 paper feed methods. You can print a sheet of paper or an envelope by selecting
"ГТ" (SINGLE SHEET) with the mode selector. When using 20 Ibs paper, you can load up to 20 single sheets of
paper into the printer at once by selecting "р (MULTI SHEET) with the mode selector. The optional Auto Cut
Sheet Feeder (KX-PT12) allows you to load up to 50 single sheets of paper.

Q Turn the power on.
The PAPER OUT indicator will flash indicating that
no paper is installed in the printer.
Ө Adjust
the
head
gap
lever
for the
thickness of paper you are using.
Set the paper feed selector to the "f"
position (Friction mode).
@ Fold the smoked plastic cover forward
by using the tab on the right side.
Ө Remove the built-in sheet feeder.
