CONTROLS

RATTLING IS NORMAL - Your heater features an in-built safety tip-over switch that is loose inside the appliance. It is normal for this safety feature to make a rattling sound when moving the appliance. Once settled and in operation on a level surface, the rattling sound will not occur. As a result always place your heater on a flat even surface prior to use.

  • On/Off: Turns the heater on and off.

Note: None of the heater's functions will work unless the on/off switch has been set to on.

  • On/Standby Button: Turns the heater on and puts it in standby mode.
Note: When the heater is on a blue light will show above the on/standby button. When placing the heater in standby mode, after a period of operation, a 60 second timer will start on the LED display and the internal fans will continue to run until the timer runs out thereby allowing the heater to cool down.

  • Mode Button: Select between LOW heat, HIGH heat, ECO heat and FAN modes.
LOW Heat Mode - The heater operates at 1000W. A blue light will show next to LOW on the control panel.
HIGH Heat Mode – The heater operates at 2000W. A blue light will show next to HIGH on the control panel.
ECO Heat Mode – The heater automatically switches between 1000W and 2000W depending on the set temperature to maximise energy efficiency. Blue lights will show next to both HIGH and LOW on the control panel.
FAN Mode – The appliance will no longer operate as a heater but just as a fan.

  • Temperature Increase/Decrease Buttons: Increases or decreases the desired temperature between 15°C and 30°C.

Note: Long-press the temperature increase/decrease buttons to quickly select your desired temperature.
When a desired temperature is set it will show on the LED display.

In low heat or high heat modes, when the room temperature reaches the desired temperature or if the desired temperature is less than the room temperature the in-built thermostat will automatically turn off the heater and place it in standby mode. Note, in entering standby mode the in-built fans will continue to turn for a brief period of time to allow the heater to cool. When the room temperature falls below the desired temperature the in-built thermostat will automatically turn the heater back on.

In eco mode, if the set desired temperature is lower than the current room temperature the heater's in-built thermostat will register this and to maintain energy efficiency and a base layer of warmth will continue to operate in low power mode.

  • Timer Button: Set a turn-on and turn-off timer between 1 and 24 hours in 1-hour increments. A blue light will show above the timer button when a turn-on or turnoff timer has been set.

Setting a turn-on timer

  1. Ensure the heater is plugged in, the power socket turned on, and the on/off switch is set to on.
  2. Press the timer button to set the desired time (between 1 and 24 hours) until heater turn-on. The time is confirmed when the display stops blinking.
  3. Select the desired temperature and settings prior to heater turn-on. The temperature is confirmed when the display stops blinking.
  4. The LED display will show the desired temperature.
  5. To check the remaining time prior to turn-on press the timer button.
  6. To cancel the turn-on timer turn the heater on and off again using the on/off switch.

Note: If when setting a turn-on timer the on/ standby button is accidentally pressed then the heater will turn on in the chosen settings but the timer will turn off.

If no mode or desired temperature is set the heater will turn on in the previously set mode and heat towards the previously set desired temperature.

Setting a turn-off timer

  1. Ensure the heater is plugged in, the power socket turned on, and the on/off switch is set to on.
  2. Press the on/standby button to turn the heater on.
  3. Press the timer button to set the desired time (between 1 and 24 hours) until heater turn-off. The time is confirmed when the display stops blinking.
  4. Select the desired temperature and settings prior to heater turn-off. The tempera- ture is confirmed when the display stops blinking.
  5. The LED display will show the desired temperature.
  6. To check the remaining time prior to turn-off press the timer button.
  7. To cancel the turn-off timer turn the heater off and on again using the on/off switch.

Note: Long-press the timer button to quickly select your desired time until turn-on or turn-off.

  • Oscillation Button: Activates the oscillation function to ensure wide and even heat distribution. A blue light will show above the oscillation button when the oscillation function is activated.
  • Mute Function (only available on Control Panel): To enable the Mute function on your appliance, press down simultaneously on the Mode and Temperature Increase button for about 2 to 3 seconds. You should hear a beep sound to confirm the activation of the function.
To disable the Mute function, repeat the same process as above.
  • Child Lock Function (only available on Control Panel): To enable the Child Lock function on your appliance, press down simultaneously on the Temperature Increase and Temperature Decrease button for about 2 to 3 seconds. The device will sound one beep, after which the display will blink 'LC'.
Once the blinking stops, the Child Lock is official activated.
To disable the Child Lock function, press down simultaneously on the Temperature Increase and Temperature Decrease button for about 2 to 3 seconds. The device will sound two beeps, after which the display will blink 'UN'. Once the blinking stops, the Child Lock is official de-activated.

Note: You will only hear the beep sounds when your appliance is not on mute.

NOTES

Overheat Protection

When the temperature of the heater is too high, the thermostat will automatically switch off the power and the heater will stop working. This may occur during improper use or certain environmental conditions. After the heater has cooled for 10 to 20 minutes, the heater can be used normally.

Tip-Over Protection

When the heater is knocked over or tipped onto its side, the safety switch will automatically cut off the power. Power will return to normal when the unit has been placed upright onto an even surface.
