6. HOW DO I RECORD DIRECTLY?
The easiest way to record is to directly record a TV
programme that is currently being transmitted.
And this is how to go about it:

Insert a cassette.

Use the

button to select the
programme number from which you wish to record,
e.g.: T 01'.
If you wish to record at a different speed (SP/LP),
press the
Csp/lF]
button on your remote control. 'LP'
will appear at the bottom of the TV screen.
Q When you wish to start recording, press the

on your set.
If you use the remote control, press the I QKJand

simultaneously.
This protects
against erroneous recording.

A red light on the front of the set indicates that a
recording is in progress.

to stop the recording.

If, whilst recording, you want to switch off the TV
screen, press

Some general notes:
* Programme number 'E 1 ' is provided for
recording from external sources (via the

EXTERNAL lanart socket).
* If you do not want to record to the end of the
cassette, press

ok l a nd | recordE
button on
the remote control again. The TV screen will show
the
end time of the recording
(also known as the
OTR time). Select the required time with the 1_<Jor
I ► I button.
Confirm it with the I ok I button.
* Whilst a recording is being made you cannot
switch to another TV channel.
