8. SPECIAL FEATURES AND EXTRAS ON YOUR TV/VCR

Apart from the functions that have already been
described, your video recorder has other special
functions and extras designed to make the use of your
video recorder as convenient as possible.
In this chapter you will find out more about them.
On Screen Display (OSD)
This function displays the operating mode selected for
your set on the TV screen.

Press
the I menu I button.
The main menu appears
on the TV screen.

Select the 'OSD MODE' line and confirm it with the

I button.
O Select one of the options. To do this, use the
I.P.. + ....^Jorl..P. - Iz3button.
O Confirm it with the LQK. | button.

actual status of the set on the TV screen.

Sleep function
You can programme your set to switch off after a
predetermined period. This functions in all operating
modes except when the video recorder is recording.
O Press the I SLEEP button. At the bottom edge of the
TV screen appear the minutes still left until
switch-off.

Each time you press the I

minutes to the time.
When you set the time to '0' with the I
clear
I button
the sleep function is switched off.
